Garden Description:
"Somewhere in Time" a novel written with the backdrop and setting of the luxurious Hotel Del Coronado, was used as the inspiration of our garden design. The plot of the novel has the main character visiting the hotel as a way to escape the stress of life and surround him self in the luxurious setting of the hotel and its grounds.
Much like the hotel, our garden is designed as a refuge from the everyday stresses of life. As you walk into the space you immediately become more relaxed to the sound of the bubbling granite and stone water feature, which drowns out the noise of the world. The wood structure creates a shelter for entertaining complete with a top of the line outdoor kitchen and entertainment bar, paying homage to the structure of the hotel.
The gas fire pit is a place to relax in the cool evenings and enjoy a conversation with friends and family. The careful selection of unique and colorful plant materials helps to enclose the space and add a sense of space. The outdoor lighting adds dramatic interest to the space for evening entertainment and sets the mood for the space.
