Position Title: Landscape Team Leader
Position Overview
The landscape team leader is an experienced landscaper working with minimal supervision. The position works as a member of the team and directs the activities of two or more team members at a job site. The landscape team leader is able to operate a variety of equipment and has a working knowledge of horticultural practices.
Knowledge and Experience
- This position requires a high school degree or GED, plus one years experience in the landscaping field.
- Candidates must be able to read and write.
- The successful individual will have a working knowledge of standard horticultural practices, including but not limited to planting, pruning, corrective pruning and general maintenance practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, math skills, job planning skills, and mechanical aptitude are a must
- Valid drivers license required
Working Relationships
The team leader will work closely with members of their team, landscape designers, other team leaders, department heads and clients.

Position Title: Hardscape Team Leader
Position Overview
The hardscape team leader is experienced in construction, basic electricity, basic plumbing and works with minimal supervision. This position directs the activities of a team of two or more team members in the construction of paver patios, retaining walls, water features, pergolas and landscape lighting.
Knowledge and Experience
- This position requires a high school degree or GED, plus one years experience in the hardscaping field.
- Candidates must be able to read and write.
- The successful individual will have a working knowledge of standard construction practices, basic understanding of electricity and basic plumbing and piping practices.
- Strong verbal and written skills, math skills, job planning skills, and mechanical aptitude are a must.
- Valid drivers license required

The team leader will work closely with members of their team, landscape designers, other team leaders, department heads and clients.
